We understand from scriptures that Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they did not know their time of visitation.  Luke 19:41-44.  Our Master and Savior wept!  Instead of taking advantage of the time, the people chose to waste it because of ignorance.  Life is a gift.  Everyday spent on the earth is an opportunity that should be utilized to advance the kingdom of God.  The Psalmist said:

“But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.” – Psalm 31:14-15

Brethren, to conclude that our times are in God’s had is not just refreshing but the best thing that can happen to anyone.  However, to truthfully have our times in God’s hand; we must invest our time obeying His instructions.  We must stop wasting time to satisfy the flesh and the lust thereof.  For instance, it is gratifying to the flesh to have brethren spend the whole time of the message in church browsing the internet on phones or chatting with a remote friend rather than listening the word to feed the spirit.  It is also pleasant to the flesh to have a believer sleep all through the message (time), irrespective of the fire oozing from the altar.

Friends, it is time to take things of the spirit seriously.  Taking the things of the spirit seriously is living with eternity in mind.  It is living God’s kingdom on the earth.  Jesus gave us clear example when He said:

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” – John 9:4

As the heavenly Father sent Him, so He has sent us.  John 17:18; John 20:21.  It is time to work the work of Him that sent us while we still have the time.  It is the most profitable way to invest our time.  Jesus Christ was able to finish His task because He invested His time on what really matters.  He never wasted His time on anything that did not add value to His mission on the earth.

We have a clear instruction and commandment to populate heaven and depopulate hell.  That is what we should invest our time doing all day, all night, every day.  I once picked a signal in my spirit that everything that one has on the earth is primarily given to one for the service of God and His kingdom.  For instance, if a believer is too busy on mundane things and completely neglect things of the kingdom; it is another way of telling God that the believer should not be given more time on the earth.  This may sound harsh but that is the truth of the matter.  King Solomon said the conclusion of all things is to fear God and to keep His commandment because that is the whole duty of man (on the earth).  Ecclesiastes 12:13

It is time to work for God as we continue to walk with God.  You tomorrow shall be great.  Your future is beautiful and wonderful.
