WHAT TIME IS IT? PART V

WHAT TIME IS IT? PART V

Someone says: “What you invest your time on defines you”.  Time can be invested.  Time is the currency of life that should be invested wisely than volumes of dollars.  Time can also be spent or wasted.  Someone says killing time isn’t murder, it is suicide.  Whatever we do with the second counts in the minute, whatever we do with the minute count in the hour, whatever we do with the hour count in the day, whatever we do in the day count in the week, whatever we do in the week count in the month and whatever we do in the month count in the year.

Brethren, any time spent on what does not add value to you is time killed or wasted.  There are agents of time wasting; they do not appear like one but they are the real enemies of man.  The Bible says:

“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of concision.” Philippians 3:2

Time wasting agents are evil workers but dressed in overall like pleasure, recreation and other pictures that appear good.  They could be movies, social media, wrong association, telephone, television etc.  Time wasting agents break people’s focus.  When focus is broken, success is fragmented.

Therefore, it is time to get focused and invest on things that matter to the overall goal for life and destiny.  The primary focal point for every year should be improved and growing relationship with God.  Jesus Christ said:

“I am the Vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in me, and I in him the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” – John 15:5

Anytime spent on knowing God and in the interest of His Kingdom is time well invested.  Choose to invest your time on things that has to do with God and the interest of His Kingdom and stop wasting or killing your time on things of less spiritual value.

Don’t rush out of church service and stay four hours or more moving from facebook to twitter and constantly online on WhatsApp or some others.

Scriptures for meditation: Matthew 6:33
