Dr. David Oyedepo was once asked by press people; “do you ever have problems?”  His answer was both amusing and instructive; “may be they (problems) came and I didn’t know”.  Seeing any obstacle as a challenge rather than a problem will always help to overcome the challenge.  School examination or tests are obstacles of a kind.  A student that sees school examination as problems may never graduate because inside the examination lies the opportunity to move to the next level of academic pursuit.

Every believer needs breakthrough mentality to continue to scale heights in life and keeps turning obstacles into miracles.  The concept of breakthrough in the journey of destiny is not a destination but a journey.  You are a miracle to have been born; you have experienced series of breakthroughs to be reading this now!  The next obstacle is not different from the ones you have surmounted.

The story of a king called Cyrus in the Bible was instructive.  The Bible says:

“Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” – Isaiah 45:1-3

Cyrus was the king of Persia.  He was chosen (anointed) just for a specific purpose; to orchestrate the building of the Temple in Jerusalem.  As a result of this special assignment; God said that He would hold his hand to subdue nations before him; He (God) would loose the loins of (other) kings to open before him two leaved gates; He (God) would go before him to make crooked places straight, break in pieces the gates of brass, cut in sunder the bars of iron and give him unfathomable wealth to accomplish the specific assignment.

If you are a believer reading this, God did not just choose you for one special assignment; He chose you from the foundation of the world to glorify you and reign with Him in eternity.  Romans 8:29-30.  If He did what He said in Isaiah 45:1-3 for someone chosen for just one earthly assignment, He would do much more for you and I.  One striking point we should understand here is that if God promised to go before and with Cyrus to turn all obstacles to miracles; He will do much more for you.  You and I are the anointed of this dispensation with the mandate to command Divine Presence not just to level obstacles but to turn them to miracles.  Not to be subdued but to subdue all obstacles.  You and I have been called, justified and glorified by God.  Romans 8:30.  God is ever asking you and I; what do you see?

“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.” – Jeremiah 1:11

See clearly and God will hasten His word for performance.  Jeremiah 1:12.  That obstacle is actually a miracle wearing an overcoat appearing like an obstacle.  Confront it, remove the overcoat and reveal your miracle.  God is with you; you have the enabling power and the ability of God to make it happen.  Even if you have done something before and it looks like the obstacle is still there; do something again.  The shells (appearing as obstacle) covering your miracle is getting weaker and weaker.  Hit is again!  Your miracle will appear!
