Oh! It was a valley, full of dry bones; the bones were very dry! No sound of any living; no voice of any mortal. Seemed all hopes were lost, completely cut off from the land of the living and anything good.
“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, and caused me to pass by them round about: and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.” – Ezekiel 37:1-3
The hope of life for a freshly dead body is nonexistent among men; the hope of life for a four-day old dead body is out of the question while the hope of life for ‘very dry bones’ is unthinkable! However, this is when God is not involved.
Jesus Christ touched the bier containing the dead body of the son of the widow of Nain and the dead rose (Luke 7:11-15). He called forth Lazarus that was dead for four days and already stinking and the dead came forth, was loosed and let go (John 11:43-44)
Even if your situation is like the picture of the valley of dry bones; buoyancy can still come out of that dryness, beauty can still come out of that ugly situation. Hopelessness can still be turned into joy and celebration of God’s faithfulness.
Do you trust Him? Refuse to give up, your miracle is in that obstacle! Prophesy to your dry bones!
