THE WORD WORKS WONDERS IV
The Bible says:
“And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.” – Exodus 7:8-12
Moses’ rod worked (miracle) serpent at the instruction of God. We established that the rod was Jesus in figure and Jesus is the living Word of God. Isaiah 11:1; John 1:1, 14. It is interesting to discover from the above text that the magicians “rods” worked (magic) serpents. The difference became clear when the miracle serpent swallowed the magic serpents.
The real rod worked (miracle) frogs; the magicians “rod” worked (magic) frogs. Exodus 8:5-7. The real rod worked (miracle) turning of water to blood; the magicians “rod” worked (magic) blood. Exodus 7:20-22. The real rod worked (miracle) lice; the magicians “rod” could not work (magic) lice. Exodus 8:16-19.
There was a common statement regarding the magicians; “…And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments…” Exodus 7:22; Exodus 8:18. Enchantments are satanic incantations; they are devilish words programmed to produce satanic work. Enchantments are a satanic version of confession and declaration. Being a fallen arch-angel; Satan knows the power of words, therefore, he fabricated enchantments to perpetuate his negative wonder.
Please note that in order to get the Word to work wonders, we do not just have to align our thoughts with the word, we must also align our words with the Word of God. We can believe with our heart, we release power with our words. Mark 11:23-24. It is one of the fundamental principles of creation to have whatever one says in faith. Genesis 1:1-31. God confirms the word of His servants. Isaiah 44:26. Any believer serving God and the interest of His kingdom is a servant of God. Angels also respond to the words of believers. Ecclesiastes 5:6. Continue to say what the Word of God says to engage the Word to work wonders.
When a believer lends his/her voice to the Word of God in faith; God is committed to confirming the Word. Every confirmation of God on the Word will always result in signs and wonders. Mark 16:20. Say what the Word of God says if you want to see what the Word of God says. This works faster and delivers surer than any satanic incantation and enchantment would.
As a matter of fact, God wants believers to open their mouths wide and speak. Psalm 81:10. Speaking the Word is speaking right; it is speaking well, it is speaking wonders because the Word is full of wonders. Do not run commentary on what is happening, speak the Word, and work your desired miracles.
God has given every believer a mouth and wisdom that no adversary can gainsay or resist, use it. Luke 21:15. Shortly after the ordination of the first set of deacons; Stephen – one of the deacons became irresistible among the people simply because he spoke the Word. Acts 6:10.
Let me say here that speaking the Word may be out of order in the natural; it may not align with social or natural decorum, it may not agree with the natural intellectual paradigm. However, go ahead and speak the Word. God had to say before He saw; He had to continue saying before He saw everything very good.
