Scriptural patience is not waiting and sighing.  It is not getting oversensitive and irritable as you claim to be waiting on the Lord.  Scriptural patience is waiting on the Lord believing until the desired result is obtained. It is waiting and believing.  The Psalmist said:

“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.” – Psalm 62:1-2

Scriptural patience is waiting and expecting because believing without expecting is not believing at all.  The Psalmist also said:

“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.” – Psalm 62:5-6

God is not limited by anything on the earth, under the earth, above the earth or in the sea. God’s presence is always we us if we know it.  We serve the unchanging God who is ever willing to do good to us to reveal His glory to the world.

Sharing a joke to describe “longsuffering” Kenneth E. Hagin once said “some people suffer long because they have to but they are not always kind while suffering long”. Putting up attitude before God while things seem not to be going the direction expected or while waiting to have our heart desires met is a minus in the school of faith.  Remember, God checks the heart before He responds to our acts.  I Samuel 16:7.

Brethren, what is your countenance while you are waiting for your testimony?  God is a God of knowledge by whom actions are weighed. I Samuel 2:3.  Don’t be touchy, hypersensitive and volatile while you claim to be waiting on God.  Stop picking quarrels with anyone and everyone at the slightest provocation and making reference (whether verbally or in your heart) to the promises of God that have not been delivered.  It does not make God look good when be behave in that manner.

Friends, God is not against you.  The only enemy you have is the devil and his demons.  Stop giving God attitude, stop getting irritable with people around you. Start waiting and believing God in truth and indeed.  If you can read this piece; God has been good to you.  What you are expecting is not as big as what you have already.  Life is the biggest gift of God to man on the earth; you have that already!

Cheer up! Rejoice again I say rejoice! People will soon gather to celebrate with you!
