THE FUNDAMENTAL VI
The entire Christian adventure is captured as “faith” in Acts 6:7. Playing down on the subject of faith is playing down on our Christian experience. Jesus (our Master and the Greatest teacher that ever walked on the earth) taught us that faith is the master key to a world of all possibilities. While all things are possible to God, all things are also possible to anyone that has faith.
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26
“And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” – Mark 10:27
“…all things are possible to him that believeth” – Mark 9:23
Brethren, bear in mind that Jesus is not a mere truthful person. He is the Truth. John 14:6. It is impossible for Him to lie; it is impossible for Him to exaggerate. Whatever He said was absolute truth and nothing but the truth. No situation, circumstance or anyone’s experience (no matter who that person is) can invalidate what Jesus said.
Jesus actually inferred from those scriptures that believers would do things like God when they are armed with faith. With faith, believers’ experiences would not be anything less than the supernatural. Believers would command things that are naturally impossible with men with their faith.
As a matter of fact, Jesus also taught us that the happenings in a believer’s life is faith determined. He said this when He healed the two blind men:
“The touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” – Matthew 9:29
This is an indication that a believer can have it the way he/she wants it on the platform of faith. Any provision covered in scriptures is practically obtainable by faith. It is important to remind ourselves that faith must be consciously built. Faith must also be consciously engaged for it to deliver the desired results. Just like the money in my pocket will never serve as a medium of exchange for any item until I consciously bring it out and practically give it out in exchange for any item of choice; faith in the heart will never deliver without corresponding “words” and “acts”.
Every service in any Bible believing church is another class of faith. The church of Jesus Christ is a place of spiritual understanding. Psalm 73:17. Every service in any Bible believing church is another opportunity to build, nurture and nourish faith. Every true pastor is a helper/nourisher of peoples’ faith by the election of grace. Jeremiah 3:15-16.
The quality of any believer’s life is a function of the level of the believer’s faith. It is scriptural wisdom to keep building and nourishing our faith. It is also scriptural wisdom to keep engaging and exercising our faith from the smallest thing to things naturally unimaginable but scripturally covered.
Begin to enjoy a Christian life of beauty, color and glamor. As you accept responsibility to continually build and engage your faith; you shall keep winning in all areas of life.
