Faith is not to be assumed but to be consciously cultivated.  It will be a dangerous to appear in the war front of a raging battle with an assumption of being armed with sophisticated weapon.  The world is a battle ground.  Christianity is an enlistment into the combatant army of God. The Bible says:

“Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” – II Timothy 2:3-4

Every child of God is chosen to be a combatant soldier of Jesus Christ; to be a good one, one must:

  • Endure hardness;
  • Engage in “the battle”;
  • Disentangle oneself from “….the affairs of this life…”

Faith is indispensable and fundamental force needed to engage in the battle as a good soldier of Jesus Christ and return victorious.  To assume faith is to sign on to becoming a casualty in the battle of life.

Faith is not be assumed but to be consciously cultivated.  The Bible says:

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” – Ephesians 6:16

There are invisible spiritual arrows of the wicked flying by day – Psalm 91:5.  Without faith, it is impossible not to be a victim of those.  If you can see them physically, you can avoid them, but no one sees them physically yet they are real.  Faith is up to the task!

Faith must be built; faith must be grown, faith must be nourished!

All the fiery darts of the wicked targeted against you or your family shall be supernaturally destroyed by the operation of your faith.  As you receive fresh grace to keep nourishing your faith; you and your family will never be a victim of the arrows of the wicked one.

Faith is an invisible but ‘takeable’ force of the spirit capable to nullifying both visible and invisible “darts” of the wicked targeted against you.
