THE FATHER’S TABLE PART IV

THE FATHER’S TABLE PART IV

God is our Shepherd.  He is also our host.  He has prepared a table before us.  It is a spiritual banquet of “eat all you can”.  The provisions on the table are inexhaustible.

“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” – Revelation 5:12

Remember that we are seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  Ephesians 2:6.  On the Father’s table (among others) are seven giant bowls in a section tagged “Redemptive Package”.  The bowls are power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing.

Brethren, the enemies are around; they may be screaming that you are unable to accomplish the good you desire but look on the table power is available.  You can say like Apostle Paul that “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” – Phil. 4:13.

If the enemies are saying that you are poor and you will remain poor; all you need to do is to check the table and keep feasting on the bowl tagged riches.  All your need shall be supplied according to His riches in Christ Jesus.  Phil. 4:19. When the enemies come with negative report that you are a fool, turn to the table and keep feeding on the wisdom of God.  You have the mind of Christ; the wisest mind that ever lived on the earth.  I Corinthians 2:16.

Friends, when the enemies are saying that you are weak; turn to the table and keep feeding on the strength of the Almighty available.  You will soon begin to sing like the Psalmist that “For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” – Psalm 18:29.  II Samuel 22:30.

If the enemies suggest to you that shame and reproach await you; turn to the table and continue to feed on the bowl tagged honor.  For your shame, you shall have double honor.  Isaiah 61:7; Zechariah 9:12.  No more shame in your life.

In case the enemies make you feel insignificant or unimportant; just turn over and keep feeding on the bowl tagged glory.  You cannot be a child of the Almighty and Most Noble God and not enjoy distinction and nobility on the earth.

No matter what the enemies is showing you that looks like curse; turn to the Father’s table and continue feeding on the very big bowl tagged “blessing” on the Father’s table.  Your story will end like that of Abraham; he was very old and the Lord has blessed him in all things.  Genesis 24:1

Please take note that for every “menu type” on the Father’s table, there is the opposite always calling for attention.  The opposite represent the enemies present but not on the table.  It is the responsibility of every guest at the Father’s table to pay attention to the table rather than the presence of the enemies.

Let your attention be on the table!

Scriptures for meditation:  II Chronicles 29:11; Revelation 4:11
