THE FATHER’S TABLE PART II
The Father’s Table is a banquet. Every believer is not just invited, every believer is actually seated at the banqueting table of the Father. Just like the natural banquet, there are varieties of menus. It is serve yourself and eat as you can or as it is the popular saying “eat all you can”.
Brethren, let’s examine the table. What is on the table? I checked and saw a very big bowl of victory. It is so big that it is inexhaustible. The Bible says:
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” – I John 5:4
Victory connotes being successful in a battle. It is an act of defeating the enemy or opponent in a battle or context. For every context or battle confronting you right now, there is victory for you!
Brethren, God did not set defeat on the table prepared for you. The next time you mind is suggesting defeat, focus on victory set on the table before you, the more you look at victory, the more you become victorious and live victoriously. The fact that your examiner said you did not pass that examination at the last attempt does not make you a failure. Keep your focus on the ‘victory bowl’ at the table prepared before you; your next attempt shall be an outstanding success.
Friends, refuse to allow fear into your heart. No one looks at victory and keep the scourge of fear within. You cannot fail, you cannot be defeated; just keep feasting on the bowl of victory set before you. Keep thinking about it, keep looking at it and keep talking about it. Your victory experience is sure!
You are an overcomer, you are not the overcomed! You are a victor, you are not the victim. You are the successful, you are not a failure. You are a winner, you are not a looser. You are the champion, you are not the defeated!
