“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” – I Peter 5:10-11
Does it look like what is happening around you is not what you desire to see or experience? Does it look like you are suffering or going through some unpleasant situations? Are you weighed down with challenges of life questioning the validity of your salvation?
Brethren, I have good news for you; the challenges will soon roll away like a carpet! The Lord will make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you. The host of heaven are working behind the scene to give you a change of story. The negative situations are not meant to be permanent; they are temporal. You are at the verge of a shift that will bring about a major and all-round turn-around in your life.
Friends, do not let the devil and his cohorts deceive you that the negative situation confronting you will never come to an end. Don’t even allow yourself to receive the contrary situation as your portion. Refuse to accept defeat. You are not a loser, you are a winner in the Lord Jesus Christ. As a matter of fact, you cannot be defeated because the One that lives inside you cannot be defeated. Things are about changing for the better for you!
God is the God of all grace, He has called us unto eternal glory by Christ Jesus. He wants us to have a taste of heaven right here on the earth. That is the reason Jesus Christ came to give us abundant life. It is important to believe this truth rather than believing the contrary situations around us. It is important to agree with the truth of scriptures rather than agreeing with the temporal contrary situation around us. No matter how terrible it looks like; no matter how persistent it has been, a change for the better is taking place right now.
Say to that contrary situation “you are temporal”; say to yourself “my change of story is happening right now”. “The Lord is making me perfect, He is establishing, strengthening and settling me into my testimony”. What you have declared shall be fully confirmed by the ever faithful and reliable God. You are next in line for a testimony.
