TEMPORAL PART I

TEMPORAL PART I
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” – II Corinthians 4:18
Whatever is accessible through the five doors of the mind (that is, human senses) is subject to change. This is good news for everyone. Your situation is about to change for the better. The tide is about to turn in your favor.
Brethren, looking closely at out text today; we are instructed not to “look” at things which are seen. In other words, we are not to pay attention to the things which are happening but to pay attention to the things that are not seen which are eternal. The things which are not seen that are eternal are the things which are written in the word of God. The word of God is eternal. The word of God abides forever.
Friends, take your eyes off what is happening that is contrary to what is written in the word of God. Focus your attention on what is written; what is happening is temporal, what is written will soon overrule what is happening and you will have a testimony.
The instruction to look not at the things which are seen but the things which are not seen calls for accepting responsibility to search out what is written that invalidates what is happening and hold on to it. Whatever you are going through right now, there is a word for you to bring to pass what you desire against what is happening. Settle down to locate what is written that you desire to see and concentrate your effort on “looking” at your discovery from the word of God.
The joy of the Lord will flood your heart; you will have a new song in your mouth and the Lord will confirm His word with signs and wonders in your life. Your secret tears shall be turned into open celebration.
