PECULIARITIES OF GOD’S POWER PART II
The power of God may be invisible but the power of God is spiritually tangible. The power of God can be touched, felt and experienced spiritually. The kinetic (electrical) energy called electricity may not be visible to the natural eyes but the effect of electricity cannot be denied anywhere it is present.
A compartment of God’s power is called “virtue”. Virtue is a spiritual energy that conveys the healing power of God to the recipients. Virtue is naturally invisible but spiritually tangible and “feel able”. Jesus knew when “virtue” left Him and the woman with the issue of Blood knew when the “virtue” got to her by the reason of the termination of her infirmity. The Bible says:
“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.” – Mark 5:25-34
It is amazing to be a beneficiary of the “virtue” of God; faith is a capital requirement to be a beneficiary but that is not what we are looking at in this little piece. What we are examining is to become a carrier of the virtue. Yes! I mean the carrier of the virtue. Jesus has already commissioned believers to be carriers of the virtue as they obey the instructions to go into the world and preach the gospel to all. Mark 16:15-18. We need a growing faith, unparalleled obedience to the instructions of soul winning and an insatiable appetite for sanctification to be carriers of God’s virtue. What Jesus said we can do is what we have been empowered to do. Jesus is the Truth, the Way and the Life. John 14:6. Believe this and position yourself to becoming a bonafide distributor of His virtue! The sick world is waiting to be harvested into God’s kingdom through your manifestation!
