NO MORE LIMITS PART III

NO MORE LIMITS PART III

We understand from scriptures that Abram was called by God at the age of 75.  Genesis 12:1-4.  He had the rare privilege of being singled out for friendship with God. Isaiah 41:8.  He had a wife that was so beautiful that remained attractive even to her old age.  Genesis 12:13-16; Genesis 20:1-8.  She was so beautiful that she attracted the attention of kings and not just ordinary people.  Not too long after the call of God, Abram became very rich in cattle, in silver and gold. Genesis 13:2.

However, Abram and Sarai had a limit; they were childless.  Genesis 11:30; Genesis 15:2-3.  It became a concern to Abram that he had to discuss it over with God. Everything looked great around him and his wife but for the childlessness.  They focused on that one limit (childlessness) until the challenge pushed them into an error – Ishmael option.  Genesis 16:1-16.

The Custodian of mercy and God that breaks limits stepped in.  Lamentation 3:22-23.  He removed the limits of their names by changing Abram to Abraham and Sarai to Sarah. He cut the covenant of circumcision with them to establish eternal connection and eliminated (possible) barrier in their relationship with God.  Genesis 17:5-15.  It is on the blood covenant that God reinstated His vow to fulfil His agenda of not just making them fruitful but outstandingly fruitful.  God said:

“And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.” – Genesis 17:16-19

Brethren, not even careless statements of Abraham or Sarah would change the agenda of God. The limits behind the scene had been removed.  The physical barrier of age and other accompanied physiological issues could not stop the purpose of God from being delivered.

Friends, no matter how the situation around you looks like; the barrier is removed.  I am happy to announce to you that the limits are eliminated.  No more limits!
