“And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.” – I Samuel 12:6
God does not move His people backward, He moves them forward. He advances His servant. No matter what level you are now; there is still another level ahead of you. God is set to move you to that level. The Bible says:
“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” – Psalm 75:6-7
Promotion literarily mean advancement in rank or position. From the scripture above; promotion does not come from east, west or south, it means that promotion comes from the north. The north is the city of the great King. Psalm 48:2. Promotion comes from God. Every mortal rejoices at promotion because promotion is good; it is pleasant, is sweet. God commands His children not to hold back to do good to anyone when it is within their power to do it. The Bible says:
“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.” – Proverbs 3:27-28
God is will not delay your lifting for a second; when you are due, you shall not be denied. God will promote you, He will advance you. When God promotes you, it reflects in all areas. It results in change of level that cannot be denied. When God advanced Moses in Egypt, he became very great before Pharaoh and his people (though he was supposed to be an alien; a fugitive for that matter). Exodus 11:3. Moses did not have any traditional, military or natural title in Egypt; yet, he was commanding all title holders, including the king (Pharaoh himself) simply because the Lord advanced him.
Friends, it important to note that the advancement of Moses came on the platform of service. He was in Egypt simply for the purpose of serving the interest of God and that of His kingdom. Every saint of God can experience advancement after the order of Moses on the platform of stewardship. God is not a respecter of persons. Acts 10:34.
We can serve our ways into next levels blessings. As a matter of fact, the more we remain committed to serving God and the interest of His kingdom, the more we keep changing levels.
