The Bible says:

“Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” – Isaiah 49:13-16

You may be faced with certain situation as a believer that something within you begin to ask; where is my God?  Some people around you may even be asking you that question openly or demonstrating it without using words.  You may even feel that perhaps God has deserted you or He is not interested in taking care of that confronting situation.  The truth is that God has vowed in His settled word never to forget nor desert His elects.  It is almost impossible for a woman to forget her sucking child; it is totally impossible for God to forget the elects.  He even gave assurance that He has engraved believers’ image on the palms of His hands; He deliberately placed a token of remembrance before Him.  This should get any believing believer excited that God has not and will not forget him/her because it is impossible for Him to do so.  God deliberately made it impossible for Him to forget the believers.  The Bible says:

“Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.” – Luke 12:6-7

If we are sure that God cannot forget us; He even declared that the very hairs of our heads are numbered.  Then, it is only a situation or circumstance that can overwhelm God that can get a believer stranded.  We understand from scriptures that there is no situation that can overwhelm Him.  There is nothing too hard, or difficult for Him.  Impossible is nothing before God. Luke 1:37; Genesis 18:14; Mark 10:27.

The revelation that no believer is ever forgotten or deserted by God calls for eternal celebration.  Therefore, whatever situation challenging your faith now as a believer; rejoice, your King is on the way to save you.  Your testimony is just around the corner.  The situation is turning to a testimony for you.  The Bible says:

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” – Zechariah 9:9

Refuse to submit to the enemy, refuse to throw in the towel.  You are not a failure, you cannot be defeated, and you are not a loser.  You are a winner!  These are not mere motivational words but they the truth regarding who you are, what is happening to you and what God has done for you.
