IT SHALL BE WELL IV

IT SHALL BE WELL IV

Saying to someone going through unpleasant situation or circumstance “it shall be well” can be refreshing.  Especially if the person making the statement is known to have all it takes to turn the situation around for good.

We understand from scriptures that there is nothing too hard or difficult for God.  Jeremiah 32:27, 17; Genesis 18:14.  As a matter of fact there is no impossibility with Him; with God all things are possible.  Mark 10:27; Luke 1:37.

Therefore, if the one to Whom all things are possible says to someone that it shall be well; it is not just refreshing it has become a ‘tangible evidence that one can go to bank with, having all assurances in this world’.  Isaiah 3:10.

However, God says it shall be well with the righteous; we have been looking critically at who the righteous is.  The one that is in Christ.  II Corinthians 5:17; the one that obeys God like Abraham.  Genesis 15:6.  The one that makes God’s kingdom his/her priority.

The righteous is one that walks with God.  The one that walks with God is one that agrees with God without any reservation.  Amos 3:3.  Enoch walked with God; he was counted both as a faith and a righteous man.  He so pleased God that he was one of the few people that did not see death.  God took him.  The Bible says:

“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews 11:5-6

The thrice holy God took Enoch and saved him from the corruption of death.  To be counted as a righteous, we must walk with Him.  That means agree with Him on all issues.  What He says should not just be a mere admonition to us but law that must be kept with all sense of responsibility and duty.

For instance we must take soul winning as our main reason for living because that was the main reason God sent Jesus to this world to die the ignoble death on the cross of Calvary.  Jesus took soul winning so serious that He went through the agony of the painful death on the cross to save the world.  This is a major way to engage in kingdom advancement endeavor.  Getting committed to this is positioning ourselves for the fulfilment of that assuring truth of scripture that “…it shall be well”.

We cannot claim to be righteous with mouth without corresponding acts.  That is the righteousness of the Pharisees.  The righteousness that is acceptable to God is the one that exceeds that of the Pharisees.  Matthew 5:20.  It is the righteousness that “does” not just the one that “says”.  As we take heed; it shall be well indeed!

If you are reading this and you are yet to receive Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior; you need to do that now so that you can be assured that “…it shall be well…” with you.  Go to the salvation page on our website; say the prayer there and be in church next Sunday to consolidate your decision.  Then, it shall be well with you!
