IT SHALL BE WELL III
The word of God is settled for ever in heaven. Psalm 119:89. There is no condition, situation or circumstances that can change the word of God. The word of God is the constant that changes all things on the earth. Isaiah 40:8
The word of God says it shall be well with the righteous; then it shall be well with the righteous irrespective of any contrary situation or circumstances surrounding the righteous. Isaiah 3:10. Man’s responsibility is to position himself in line with the positive fulfilment of scriptures.
Anyone that meets the qualification of being a righteous; male or female living in any part of the world can be rest assured that it shall be well with him or her. We established that the starting point is to be in Christ. II Corinthians 5:17; we also established that we must believe God to be counted as righteous. Anything done outside faith is sin. Romans 14:23. Therefore, faith equals righteousness before God. Romans 4:5.
Faith is obeying God. Genesis 12:1-4. Abraham believed God, he obeyed God. Hebrews 11:8-10. If faith equals righteousness and faith is obeying God, then, righteousness is obeying God. Any kind of righteousness that is devoid of obeying God is fake; may be at best self-righteousness which is like a filthy rag before God. Isaiah 64:6.
For instance I don’t believe any believer can be counted as righteous if he or she does not put kingdom matters first in his or her consideration. Jesus commanded us not to think, act or react the same way people of the world do by running after things of this life. He said:
“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:30-33
According to Jesus Christ; it is people with little faith (claiming to be Believers) that make the basic necessities of life their focus. They spend their time, energy and all they have got running after things rather than going after the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Remember, little faith is prone to failure because little faith is prone to fear. Matthew 8:26. You cannot record any landmark accomplishment with little faith.
If we are believers, we should be obedient believers in truth and indeed. Make kingdom expansion and enlargement your priority and focus; then, be rest assured that all shall be well.
If you are reading this and you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; you need to do that now without any further delay. Go to the salvation page on our website; say the prayer there and be in church next Sunday to consolidate your decision. Many people prefer to profess Jesus secretly and privately but Jesus died for you publicly on the cross of Calvary. If you are not ashamed to take the step mentioned earlier in this write-up; I can assure you that it shall be well with you irrespective of what you are going through now!
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, empower me for unparalleled obedience to all Your instructions at and to make the interest of Your kingdom my priority as a life style. John 2:5; Matthew 6:33
Scriptures for meditation: Matthew 6:25-34
