“And one of the multitudes answered and said, Master, I have brought my son, which hath a dumb spirit; and wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out, and they could not.  He answered him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him unto me.  And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tares him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.  And he asked his father, How long ago is it ago since this came unto him?  And he said of a child.  And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.  Jesus said unto him if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” – Mark 9:17-23

The story of the demon-possessed boy above led to a powerful revelation of the truth that all things are possible to anyone who believes.  This revelation from the “Truth” himself places believers in the realm of all possibilities; that is the realm of God.  With God, all things are possible; with believers are things are equally possible.  The reason is that it is faith that moves God on behalf of man.  Faith gets God to intervene in man’s situation and circumstance; when God intervenes, all impossibilities are supernaturally converted to possibilities.

It is important to note that faith feeds on unparalleled obedience to God and His word.  It is obedience to God that truly defines faith, not a mere positive mental attitude about your request from God.  This is why faith grows from the word.  The source of faith will ever remain the word of God.  Romans 10:17.

It will amount to mere self-deceit to leave God’s word out of the equation while trying to keep a mental attitude of having all things become possible.  Many are constantly being whipped for this.  Faith is not even a passive agreement with the truth of the word.  Faith is an active engagement with the truth of the word.  This is what moves God and turns all impossibilities of life into all-around possibilities.

It is good to be reminded that many things will ever remain impossible; it is only with God that all things become possible.  Mark 10:27.  But all things are possible to those that believe because those that truly believe have become one with God by actively obeying Him.

Stop folding your hands saying that you believe; start engaging in whatever the word says to show that you believe truly;

Stop claiming to be holding on and doing nothing to show that you believe; the proving of your faith is your active obedience to God’s word;

Stop saying that you believe God without corresponding actions; start doing whatever He says so that you can see whatever He says!

Impossibility is nothing to those that truly believe!
