HEIRS OF GOD; JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST IV

HEIRS OF GOD; JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST IV

“For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them and end of all strife. Wherein God willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath.” – Hebrews 6:16-17

Heirs of God and joint-heirs of Christ are also heirs of promise.  They are heirs of immutable promise of God.  They are heirs of immovable, enduring and sacrosanct counsel of God.  They are heirs of the sworn verdict of the faithful God whose name is also THE FAITHFUL and TRUE.  Revelation 19:11

The implication of this is that the heirs of promise can never be stranded.  The heirs of promise can never be hopeless.  They are joined to all the living.  The Bible says:

“For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” – Ecclesiastes 9:4

No matter what is going on with the heirs of promise, there will always be a promise in the ‘bank of promises’ to take care of the situation.  No matter how seemingly difficult or impossible the situation looks like, there is always a solution waiting to be discovered.  No matter how hard the question, life has presented, there is always an accurate answer to be discovered in the ‘bank of promises’. This leaves the heirs of promise with a strong consolation that there is always a way out.

God’s servant; Dr. David Oyedepo, in one of the many situations that he was confronted with a deadly question that bordered on life or death;  according to testimony, he simply told himself that ‘there is a way out here’.  He went to the office had devotion with the staff concluded with banters with the staff as if nothing serious was happening after which he engaged in a serious search through the ‘bank of promises’ to locate the immutable counsel and sworn verdict of God regarding the situation and that was what settled the situation that many would have gotten someone else cowed and bowed down in depression thereby opening the door for the oppressor to come in and oppress.

If you are a believer, you are an heir of promise, you cannot be defeated by anything life may throw at you. There are solutions and answers waiting to be discovered from the ‘bank of promises’.  Your responsibility is to engage on a spirited search and you will discover that you are on top of the situation.

If you are not a believer yet, the Bible will appear like a story book to you.  You must not wait the next second, visit the salvation page on our website and follow the links, pray the salvation prayer and be in church next Sunday.  You are in for a great time in the journey of life.
