HALLELUJAH, HE AROSE! HALLELUJAH, HE LIVES! VI

HALLELUJAH, HE AROSE! HALLELUJAH, HE LIVES! VI
Jesus Christ did not just rise from the dead; He is the resurrection and the life. He said categorically:
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” – John 11:25
The implication of this is that Jesus Christ can quicken everyone He wants. The power of His resurrection is able to bring back to life anything dying or dead. The Bible says:
“For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.” – John 5:21
The two scriptures that we have considered today are some of the accounts of what happened before the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It means that the demonstration of the power of resurrection was still a prophecy then. Today, the difference is that the power is already fulfilled and it is ever operational. Apostle Paul said:
“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” – Phil. 3:7-11
Apostle in his prayer was ready to forgo anything precious to him so as to gain the knowledge of Christ and experience the power of His resurrection. It is important for us to be reminded that Apostle Paul was a legal luminary, a zealous Hebrew of repute but was desperate to let go of everything he ever had in the pursuit of the real thing which is the knowledge of Christ and the experience of His resurrection power.
Brethren, many believers pay lip service to their desire to know Christ and the power of His resurrection. It takes seeking God with the totality of one’s heart to ever find God. Jeremiah 29:13. Forty days post-resurrection appearance of the resurrected Christ is real but a genuine hearty seeking is an advantage to having an encounter. Post resurrection appearance of the resurrected Christ will quicken anything dying or dead back to life. The good news is that any believer can activate post-resurrection visitation through deliberate and insatiable heart panting. Don’t get me wrong, God is not playing hard to get with His children but He desires us to zealously engage our heart to search for Him. Remember, He will never break or change His Word. You will have a definite encounter with the resurrected Christ that will leave you with unforgettable miracles in Jesus Name!
