The fundamental platform of the Biblical belief system is the conviction and confidence that God exists and that He is a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6. The fact that no one has seen God physically and we will never see Him physically “at this side of Jordan” notwithstanding; God exists and He rewards. There are too many physical evidences, too numerous to be counted pointing to the truth of God’s existence and what He does. As a matter of fact, you, reading this piece are a physical evidence of God’s existence and what He does. No wonder that the Bible says only a fool will say in his heart that there is no God. Psalm 14:1; Psalm 53:1.
God’s servant, Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo has her favorite byline as “God is too faithful to fail”. She is a clear demonstration of that statement today having had the enemy and all his attacks crushed under her feet just like God said in His word.
“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” – Romans 16:20
Brethren, are you confronted with some kind of invisible battles? Does it look like things are not going the way you want them to go? Does it look like you have done all the godly and scriptural things you know how to do and it looks like that the enemy is getting stronger and things are getting worse? The answer to all these and all such questions is “God is too faithful to fail”. He has never failed anyone before; He is not planning to fail you now and will never fail anyone in the future. That same God that is too faithful to fail is also the God of peace. According to our text today, one of the fundamental acts of the God of peace is to “…bruise satan under your feet shortly…” The enemy that seems very strong today becomes your stepping stone to greatness tomorrow. All attacks of the enemy over your life is turning to “spices” to your testimony and sweetener to your victory.
Friends, we cannot be in a better hand than the Hand of God. The Hand of God performs whatever His mouth declares. Whatever He says He creates. Do not ever allow whatever is going on around you to suggest to you to begin to question the faithfulness of God. His faithfulness is everlasting and it transcends generations. That pressure around you will soon turn to pleasure. That seeming set back is turning to step back to unending progress for you. Believe it, receive it and become it. You will manifest the glory to God to your world.
