Soul winning is a universal call of God on every believer. If you are redeemed, you have been separated, chosen and called as one of the ‘choicest’ to win souls into the kingdom. The New Testament believers have access to some of the greatest spiritual arsenals that were only available in figure in the Old Testament time. Every believer today knows the name of Jesus; they only had description and the figure of the name in the Old Testament. Every believer today has access to the Blood of Jesus; they only had the blood of goats and bulls in the Old Testament. Hebrews 9:13. Every believer today has access to the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit; the operation of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament was selective and temporary. Thus, “the Spirit of the came upon” was a regular feature. These three privileges of the Name, the Blood and the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit (among others) make a believer in Jesus Christ today a ‘choicest’. He/she is so empowered that he/she could do all things through the ever strengthening power of Christ. Philippian 4:13.
God being a God of purpose so equipped believers for the interest of His kingdom. Apostle Paul recognized this fact clearly when he said:
“For though I preached the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is me, if I preach not the gospel!” – I Corinthians 9:16
Apostle Paul posited that he could not stop preaching the gospel if he had wanted to stop. He counted it a great privilege to preach the gospel. He was consumed with spreading the good news of salvation to all. He counted himself as a debtor to all, owing them the good news of salvation through Christ Jesus. Romans 1:14. Every believer today is a debtor; we owe Christ love because He took on the punishment we deserved for our sins; we cannot repay this debt but we can share His love with the dying world. We owe the world the message of everlasting peace, joy and eternal pleasure that Jesus Christ brought.
If believers will not witness Christ, we are killing, destroying and wasting the investment of Jesus Christ on our lives. You are too loaded to keep quiet before a sinner. We must go out every day, at all times bearing his reproach. The Bible says:
“Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.” – Hebrews 13:13
Is there anything holding you back from reaching out? The hour has come; now is the time to go all out relentlessly “…bearing his reproach” preaching the gospel to all nations and nationals. That is the primary reason for being counted among the end-time saints of Jesus Christ. You are one of the ‘choicest’!
