“Now will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard.  My well-beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:  And fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and build a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.” – Isaiah 5:1-2

Redemption has made believers accepted in the beloved.  Ephesians 1:6.  As believers, we belong to the Kingdom of the dearly beloved Son of God.  We have been accepted into the family of God through the Love Gift of God to the world.  John 3:16.  Believers in Jesus Christ are well beloved; the same order of love that God (the Father) has for God (the Son – Jesus Christ) has been extended to us.  The rare love of God for us has made us rare, excellent and superior breed before God.  Believers are carefully selected.  We are planted in a “…very fruitful hill…” well catered for and protected from undesirable elements of the seen and unseen worlds.

The vineyard is the Christendom, the pleasant plants are the believers in Jesus Christ.  The Bible says;

“For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, and behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.” – Isaiah 5:7

The Scriptures made it clear that believers in Jesus Christ are spiritual Israelites and spiritual Jews.  The Bible says:

“For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men but of God.” – Romans 2:28-29

God gave the best attention to His vineyard and planted it with the “…choicest vine…” because he “…looked that it should bring forth grapes…”  God expects good fruits; He deserves better fruits, He demands best fruits because He invested His best – He gave His Best and His all.  John 3:16; John 15:13

One kind of fruit that God expects, deserves and demands in abundance is a harvest of souls, souls and souls into His kingdom!  We understand from scriptures that:

“In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of prince.” – Proverbs 14:28

God does not want anyone to perish; He wants everyone that passes through this world to come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  The now believers are the “… choicest vines…” planted in a very fruitful hill (Jesus Christ) to bring the good fruit of future believers into the Kingdom of God today.  What are you doing?
